Knitted, crocheted, weaved, felted - any-which-way you prefer Tracy.  We want people to enjoy producing squares, hats or garments, it mustn't become a chore.  Whatever you produce, just know that within a couple of weeks it will be made into a blanket/coat and really helping to keep a parentless child warm!  I like KAS for that very reason - all us knitters/crocheters etc make it happen.  Take care. Welcome to KAS, Tracy from way over in Canada.  I was away on holidays so my welcome is a tad late I admit.  I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too.  Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above.  To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join the always friendly Aussie group or any group you wish, to chat with.  Any questions just PM me. :)  So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.

Hi Tracy, Welcome to the KAS forum and I hope you will enjoy being part of this friendly & lively community. Do you knit or crochet or both? Around the world caring people are all taking direct action and team-working with the Ladies of the Soweto Comfort Club - it is making a difference to many parentless children.  When you've had a chance to look around the site you would be very welcome to join the Down Under group for more local news and chat.

You can also personalize your own page by clicking on the My Page tab on the menu.  Also you can access Settings on this page and set your privacy terms.  For questions click on the Forum tab and then KAS - Questions, Answers and Help.

Glad the magazine directed to you our team!  Check out the New Member Guide by clicking the "Main Page" tab above. There you will find all kinds of information about KAS. Another great section to look over is the Photo tab - everyone is so supportive of the work on display.
