Julia Dee said… Val thank you for your comments on my blanket and teddies. Sorry to have taken so long to reply to you but I have been volunteer teaching in a township south of Cape Town in South Africa. I got back four days ago and have just gone away on my own two week "Holiday" in the Canary Islands. I shall catch up on the site when I get time. Thanks again the blanket was not patience it was just making use of every scrap of wool I had.

Linda Maltby said… - Hi Val, glad you like the blanket. My friend's mother knit the squares and was sewing them together when she became ill. After she passed away, her daughter asked me to finish the blanket. I am pleased that I was able to do this and send it to South Africa in her mother's memory.
