Square Circle Forum

I recently got permission to leave a KASbasket of partially knitted squares in the waiting room at my chiropractor's office. She also generously agreed to donate $50.US towards the postage for mailing the squares. I included some KAS fliers and rulers in the basket as well as some extra balls of yarn. There has been lots of excitement about this. Every time I've been back to the office, there are more completed squares and the staff members report lots of interest in KAS from patients and visitors. Thank you, Dr. Elizabeth Ann Krimmel and her staff, Eileen, Betty and Judy.

Hope Dr. K doesn't mind waiting whilst someone finishes the row they are knitting - don't you just hate stopping half-way through?  The surgery is likely to produce at least one blanket a year and provide warmth for one child. Excellent idea Debbie, and, it relaxes the patients while they wait patiently!

Just collected 6 more squares that were knitted by patients waiting at Dr. Krimmel's office for treatment. Such fun!!

Oh my goodness, this is a brilliant idea Debbie, I am so happy it's working too. Now to have a think of someplace I could do something like this:) Maybe my hairdresser, she has her salon at home and she knows me well.

I did leave some of the note cards at my Dr's office yesterday, just left them with the magazines :)

Simone, click on the "Resources" tab above and explore all that is available to download. There are bookmarks and flyers, notecards and handouts...all informative and colorful. I carry some with me everywhere and hand them out. I always take my knitting when I know I'll have to wait in a doctor's office and people invariably ask me what I'm making...then I can share the story about KAS!
