Hello everyone,
I am a new member living in south of England at Whitstable and so glad I found KAS online.I am nearly 70 and have knitted nearly all my life. I have 6 grandchildren but unfortunately none seem interested in hand knitted clothes, so really glad to have found a worthwhile cause to put my time to. I have just finished 8 pullovers and will shortly be putting them in the post.
Have just spent an hour looking at all the lovely photos and must say it has really made me feel even more keen to keep knitting as over the last couple of years have felt quite despondent not quite knowing what to do!!
Hope I have done this right as never sent a "blog" anywhere before!!.
All the best to everyone
Sylvia

Comment by P. Jeanne Haessler on February 2, 2012 at 5:21am Sylvia I'm pleased to let you know that you're a "young sprout" as, in Chris's blog from Haxley House, his knitting angels range from 87 to 97! I know what you mean though, my kids only rarely need a new hat or scarf and I was languishing with my crochet. Now KAS has reinvigorated me and I'm sending off squares, sometimes a sweater, often a hat. It's fun to have an excuse to buy yarn again! I just turned 60 so I find this is keeping me out of getting into too much mischief...well somewhat. Heh heh heh....
