Last week I re-introduced you to the Square
Circle Invitation, which you could use to invite people to join a
knitting/crochet group. This week it's our UPDATED
'Letter of Introduction'.
This letter is on official letterhead and sets out to evocatively
describe the work you are doing for the orphans and children.
It
makes it easier for you to present to your school, or community or
local yarn shop as a means of introducing knit-a-square and asking for
support. This support could be many and varied, for example.
-donated yarn
-a venue to host a crochet/knitting circle in
-asking your local school to get involved in the KasKidsTM program
-asking your community/friends/family to support the orphans by donating toward postage
-asking local business to support the orphans through donations to KasCare
(we still have to maintain the South African operation)-getting involved in a fund-raising event
Please
download
a copy of the letter and have a think about how you can use it to raise
awareness, raise funds or find a way of incorporating KAS into your
communities life.
If you are successful, please let us know as we would love to use your example to inspire others.
Please
remember that while our primary job is to keep these children warm, our
next and very important job is to make sure that their plight is known
by as many people as we can get the message too.
Thanks as always for your continued support.
