11th Completed Blanket - Terrific to Touch August 2017 Theme

Here I've used DK wool and made a basket style pattern to look like 5 squares, but it's actually in 3 strips. A while ago I had accidentally bought 700g of chunky wool - so I decided to use that in garter stitch strips using 4.5mm to keep the work firm and thick. I'm delighted with the results - and so is my Son who would have liked to keep the blanket for himself - he had no chance !!
