Cascade 220 Superwash worked on 6mm needles with double stranded yarn. Cast on 30 stitches.

    And yes, it's lovely warm and thick but still elastic. Should hold up to wear and tear.

    I'm going to do several of these asymmetrical/abstract squares to use up every single inch of donated wool. (I even unpicked a multi-colored, double stranded HUGE swatch to rescue the wool :)

    I was thinking of 'boyish' squares when I came up with this and knew I didn't have as much red as I would have liked. I think I will hold this back and send several double stranded squares together.
