  Thanks Jen and Christine! They are knitted as a whole. I had to pick up stitches along the different edges for the different blocks. The pattern is from a dishcloth book called Splash of color. It's an easy pattern. I think I am going to do different colors though.

  They're lovely.! How do you do that? Are these knitted whole or sewn together?
