My First Knitting

Hi everyone I am so pleased with myself here is my first square and Beanie hat. My square wasn't quite the right size so after some grateful advice from my friend Christine from the knitting forum who told me the best number of stitches to use, I started again and hey presto one 8inch square!Can't wait to do some more!!

    A kind of pillbox hat eh?  Really cute, the bow is adorable.  Very nicely done square too, the contrast rows are lovely.

    Well done Jenny! Glad that they're coming a better size now - it's all a bit trial and error. The hat looks good, love the bow.
