Plain Janes and Hat

I worked the hat in Michael's Charisma. It is so incredibly soft and I love the way the variegated yarn ended up in stripes.

  • Michael's Charisma, I'll have to look that one up online, it's obviously bulky/chunky weight and indeed looks very soft and warm...and that's the most important thing for a hat, plus being able to stretch and grow with it's owner. It's a lovely hat. I see that under it is a striking variegated yarn, so bright and cheery but I admit my eyes are drawn to the cream/ivory ones at the bottom of the pile...these types of colors make it easy to blend all the pattern squares together, ivory goes with everything. Once again, "plain janes" should not be underestimated. They help out so much...the little square that could. :)
