    Yep this one is a success. I'm doing the same pattern idea in crochet but in finer baby wool so it's taking ages, lol, at my speed. Thanks so much for posting the pattern, now I know what mine will look like...eventually! ;)

    Elizabeth, this idea seems a wonderful way to use up scraps from ends of skeins that will not
    be enough to make a square. Making the straps different colors is a neat idea!

    My other grandma gave me a huge bag of left over wool scraps from her and her sister - I think it's about 50% wool, but heaps of colours all in the same weight.
