Here's my introductory picture of two squares knit with unusual wool with sequins adding a little bit of girly sparkle.

What a fabulous idea. Let's Think Girls in June!! Thanks, Karen.

Karen, these are lovely.  A little girl will be thrilled when she discovers the sparkles in her blanket! xo

Oh my goodness the flood gates are open and I know the squares will be magnificent. Looking forward to enjoying this month's girly gallery Karen.

A FABULOUS intro, Karen.  :)) Thank you so much for hosting this theme. xo

LOVE your first two squares...who doesn't love a little sparkle??!!

I think I have finally 'locked in' my idea for June...just have to finish my project for May. I am staying at my own 'knitting hotel' for a few days...aka babysitting my son and his partner's four dogs....they seem to want more lap time and cuddles than I anticipated....lol.

That sounds ace Bev.  Us women are fabulous at multi-tasking so doing 3 things at the same time will be a doddle!

Thanks for your girly intro Karen!

I decided to use up my chunky yarn in girly colours before starting any more balls of yarn. Then I used up started dk yarn in girly colours but used two strands of yarn for each square,  so they too are nice and thick.....

OOO these are really lovely Christine - you've made excellent use of some very pretty wools here.    They'll be an admirable quality to any blanket for a girl.    Bravo!

Beautiful squares, Chris....the colours in the right one are so sweet and delicate.  :))

Gorgeous girly squares, Christine!! Love the colors and texture. Thanks.

Chris, your squares are always so lovely.  I love them all, but the centre ones are luscious! xo

Three delicious girly coloured squares knit in different dainty textured patterns.
