A JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD !
This challenge is going to take us around the planet whilst reaching great heights & piles of squares - 178,000 to be precise, in order to reach the top of
Table Mountain, Cape Town in South Africa!
We are going to need 50 squares for every foot climbed!

Do you realise that it only took us 1 year 7 months and 22 days to climb all those mountains, visit all those magnificent sights and create so many warm blankets. All those fingers manipulating needles of all kinds and all the people like Pam making sure our totals were up to date.
I agree, amazing, Valerie and Pam you're right...count in the postal strike and wowsers...the power of love cannot be stopped! Each and every contributor to this great challenge deserves one of these....
A toast to all of us - to Pam for leading the Challenge, to the square-makers who got us to the top, to Mili for those last squares and to the 5805 children who will have a blanket!
Thanks Mili, thought I'd never make it - gripping the edge was becoming unbearable and I certainly needed a helping hand on to get my feet on the top!
