Square Circle Forum

Very late opening this thread this year for various reasons that you know about but lots of pictures have now been received and should be posted over the next few days. Many more will appear in the Blanket Room 2017 which will be opened shortly.

Another valuable helper is Barbara who I believe is a friend of Ronda. She specializes in joining the odd shapes and does it beautifully ...

Well done Barbara. She has done a great job of matching and joining the 'odd bunch'. :-)

Barbara is AMAZING!!! One would think these patchwork blankets were designed to be this way.

FANTASTIC!!!!

Barbara's a genius. She makes "crazy" blankets, just like crazy qhilts in patchwork.

Barbara has worked magic with these non-squares.   Wonderful, fun blankets.

I love the beautiful butterfly incorporated into the blue blanket.

Great job, and great patience Barbara....fabulous results!

A few photos from the August 22nd Opening Day which also celebrated Ronda's birthday. From the first batch of photos taken with Ronda's new birthday camera!

Aww, doesn't Ronda look cute!!

Looks like a bit of sorting to be done in the second last pic....

Happy Belated Birthday Ronda! Good to see lots more goodies coming in to restock those depleted shelves too. Loving the knitted toys.

A belated Happy Birthday to Ronda.

How lovely to see all the items that have arrived and I agree with Bev that there looks to be a lot of sorting to do with all those squares.

Where did the article on the 400 squares come from?

The article must have appeared in a local newspaper.- maybe Estelle or someone in the team knows more about it.The squares were made for 2 charities as part of the school program. Nice write-up about KAS.

Thank you, Christine. I enlarged the photo and read the article. Yoou're right. It's a good plug for KAS.
