  • I hope you're feeling better Ervinlena. We are having a very circumspect Christmas again this year! Just the family and a few friends for lunch. It's always fun though. What are you doing?

  • Hi Ervinlena
Sorry to hear you have been ill a big cuddle is on it's way.
The weather in the UK is still rather Arctic in places. Home is the best place at the minute, though I did venture out in the snow last week to buy more wool.
I joined KAS a couple of weeks ago and I'm always on the look out for bargain wool and new patterns. Having rested my pins for about 25 years I am really enjoying getting back in the swing of things.
Christmas well that is another story. We have a small artifical tree which I will probably put up sometime next week.
The shops are fairly manic here so where possible I shop on line. Just one more person to buy for.
Tonight I've printed off the Christmas card list so I just have to stop knitting for an hour or so, but the knitting is so addictive.
    Christmas Greetings and happy knitting.

  • I am celebrating Christmas in good style this year I bought a large [artifical ]tree and some lovely decorations and a beautiful glass nativity set. Its the first time in about 6 years. We have some difficulties with celebrations in our family with mental health issues.Lights and excitement settng off manic attacks, some unhappy memories being triggered and various little upsets. Anyway this year we are all in good form and Christmas is looking good [without the lights It sparkles anyway].I've have been dying to put a photo up of my tree. Could we share tree pictures somewhere? Maybe here? But I don't know how to do it if it is not on the front page! Would this be a suitable activity for KAS?
  • hope you are better, Ervinlena?
personally, nothing planned, so far. the girls may visit, but will depend on their work and the weather
