Hi, I am a grandma who read about your organization in a mystery book about knitting.  I haven't sent any squares yet, but I have a bunch to send out.  I hope they are good enough to go in a blanket.  I have been looking for a worthwhile charity project since I retired from teaching.  This is definitely it.  This is a wonderful thing you are doing.  Take care, Shar

    Welcome, Shar!  As long as your squares are thick and warm, they will be great in a blanket =)!  We've been told to aim for 8", but if it is a little less or a little more, they can still make it work.  This is definitely a worthwhile project!
