Hello everyone!

I'm new at this so hopefully this works!  Love to knit and I used to do so regularly when my daughters were young.  So I was looking for a knitting charity and I am happy to have found this one.  I have knitted my first square today, first of many!

    Welcome...from Western Australia. We are so glad you found us, too.

    As Pam has said, if possible, we would love to see some pics of your squares when you have made a few. The 'photo' tab at the top of this page will take you to see what your fellow KASers have been making.

    Any questions -  please check the welcome message on the main page, but also feel free to ask us. We are a friendly, supportive bunch who love to help each other and share ideas.

      Thanks for the message.  I do have a quick question, I have got some comments on my page which I would like to reply to but there is no reply option?  Do I have to send a friend request?  Many thanks for the help.

        Hi Mandy

        When a comment says for example "Mary Jones commented on" click on commented and it will bring up the comment again only this time it will have "message back" underneath the comment and you can reply by clicking on 'message back' or if it says "mary Jones replied to" click on r'eplied' and it will take you to the discussion and you can reply then.

        This should work, let me know if it doesn't......have a great day....am off to do the ironing before work...sigh!!

    Thanks for your note Mandy. Also well done for producing your first square, just so you know it takes 35 to make one blanket - but we don't expect you to produce them all in a week!  If you have a digital camera, we love to see squares placed on the Photo Tab on the menu bar - seeing other work spurs us on!
