Moved from old patterns section With first colour, chain 4; join with slip st in first ch to form a ring. Round 1: With first colour: chain 3 ( 3 ch counts as first dc), work 23 dc in ring; Change to second colour and join with slip st in top of beginning ch. Round 2: With second colour: ch 2, hdc ,ch1, 2hdc in first st(1st corner made), hdc in next 5 st;*2 hdc , ch 1,2hdc in next st(2nd corner made); hdc in next 5 sts; repeat from * 2 more times; join with slip st in first st—20hdc, and 4 corners. Round 3: Slipstitch to the ch 1 of the corner then Repeat round 2 -you will have 32 hdc and 4 corners. The number of hdc will increase by 12sts in each round(3 on each side). Continue repeating round 2 until you have desired size. Depending upon the yarn used, you may find the ring is too big or too small for the stitches. Adjust the # of ch sts to make the appropriate sized ring. Colour choice is your option. It can be a solid coloured square or a many coloured square. You choose !
