The Square Heart

Hi everyone!

I hope it is ok to start this discussion! I just read that Mary Kristel Lokken had been awarded the Square Heart and I wanted to have a place for us to say,

CONGRATULATIONS MARY!!!!


I am a new KAS member, but it didn't take long to see what an incredible contribution Mary has made and continues to make to KAS. You are an inspiration Mary!!

    I just saw this Laurie, but I'm so glad you posted it!  Mary absolutely deserved this award and I was so excited to see that she got it!  Not only does she continue to inspire and amaze with her gorgeous squares, hexagon sweaters etc. etc.; she is incredibly supportive of everyone else!  She is always one of the first people to notice a "new face" and to make a point of helping us all feel at home here on the forum!

    We LOVE you Mary!! 

    (I tried to download a picture of a bunch of Daisies for you Mary, but it wasn't cooperating!)

        That is AWESOME.  Love it!  Best use of origami yet, for me. :D  

        Mary and Anneke continue to amaze me with their yarn artistry and just the sheer volume of beautiful work they do.  And it's all for the children.  Bless your flying fingers ladies!
