What's on your Needles and Hooks in October 2024?
 
 
 
 
There is loads of colourful inspiration around us at this time. In the northern hemisphere it is Fall/Autumn......reds, browns,oranges and yellows, to name a few

in the southern hemisphere it is Spring.....all the colours of the rainbow

 And if that is not inspo enough,
the CoM (colour of the month) is.....
PINK!!

    Oh dear, the month is over and my pile of pink yarn is looking very sad at being largely ignored and unused.

    On the bright side, my purple stash is ready to go....where to, I'm not sure....hahaha.

      Oh, Bev, I have much the same problem every month.   Things I plan to make, yarn set aside to make them ... then the month ends, and there it sits until I just put it all back in the stash, and start on the new month.    Oh, well, maybe a better plan will present itself when that theme comes back around.embarassed

    A Big PINK Thank You to Bev for guiding us through another productive and creative month.  We appreciate your help in keeping us on track, and guiding us to be creative while keeping the children warm.

    Wonderful knitting from Patricia's bobbles, Bevs stripes , Arlene's mitred squares and hat, Karen's hats and her stash striped squares. I'm am using King Cole Stonewashed at the moment , and am waiting on an order from Wool Box UK with some more. I usually mix King Cole Dk with my left over sock yarns that I tie together in one big ball. Certainly makes for interesting squares.

    I've had a good clearout of my leftovers and bits and bobs here - 18 striped squares!

      IMO stripes in a blanket just give it that extra zing!!

      All the different colour combos you have created is super! I'm having fun just trying to pick a fave.....hahaha.

        What a great collection of bits and bobs you have!   And what beautiful collection of squares you made from it.  The children will be thrilled.
