  Hi Claire, thanks for your comment. No there is not a pattern as I made it up as I went along using the tank top pattern from warmwoolies.org as a basis for measurements ets. I had 2 problems to solve - we don't have the same weight yarns here in S. Africa as the U.S. and I don't use circulars. But I was happy with the end result. regards - Jen

  Hello Claire, just passing to personally welcome you to the forum and to thank you for already participating by sending a baby blanket for the July Challenge. That is great. We are going to keep running it for a while as we still have about 100 blankets to go and we will see after that what happens with regards to finding more places who look after abandoned babies. Look forward to chatting to you soon in the forum.

  Thanks Claire: I had been giving all my left-over small balls to the local elementary school. But, as it is summer, I was accumulating a big bag full and decided to try using it up - it was REALLY fun (and quick)! Laurie
