Hi Gina! Sorry you had trouble with my email. It's
forstew@outlook.com
But please don't worry about sending me a note. You all do so much already. It must feel overwhelming at times!
I've been very busy at work this month and following the forum from afar, but I wanted to tell you how beautiful your squares are. You are a natural! I will learn to crochet some day...maybe when I retire! :)
Greetings Gina from the middle of Canada! What a superb smile you've got, one of those smiles that lights up the whole room. Way to go! Welcome to a worldwide network of loving happy people helping African HIV/Aids orphans and the poorest of the poor. Glad to have you with us! It's so heartening to know that in this global, often so impersonal world, we're actually making a difference, a REAL difference, in the lives of these children. Check out the Forum, in the header above, for the various discussion threads, and Photos for all the lovely photos of members' work and Groups where you can join groups from countries around the world, not to mention Patterns where you can get inspired with easy level patterns of things the children really need, the right sizes and shapes.
When you click on Discussions, the Featured Discussions grouping (in the Forum section above) shows the most important subjects at the moment, latest challenges, latest news etc. I also recommend the Café KAS Discussion section, which contains the Our Furry Companions and Yarnaholics threads. I am so much a Yarnaholic! Thanks again for helping the AIDS orphans in Africa!
Hi Gina, so glad you have joined us ! Having another member of the KAS South African team on the forum makes the connection with S.A stronger. Looking after the correspondence will be such a great help for Ronda. People do worry about their parcels arriving safely. It is wonderful to see your daughter, Isabella, involved as well.
Please add comments to any group discussion when you have time. We’d love to hear from you :-)
http://forum.knit-a-square.com/photo will show you photos of members wonderful creations, including decorative squares or squares of one colour which we affectionately call Plain Janes. Each and every one is very much needed, it takes 35 squares to make one blanket.
I hope you have fun and if you have any questions please ask, we are a very friendly, chatty bunch :)
