Hi Janet, glad you liked the monkey squares. They were fun to make and I hope the children enjoyed them. I have some fluffy brown yarn which I must use to make more monkeys !
Thanks so much Janet - I enjoy it all so much so no hardship :-)
Your crochet squares are fantastic - lovely colour combinations. I crochet a bit for a change but always go back to knitting when I need to click away without too much concentration. How long have you lived in Greece? - those blue skies in your pic look so lovely on this cold winter's day in the UK!
Hello Janet, nice of you to get in touch. I agree that the people on this site are rather special. I am impressed that you have learned how to crochet - something I never seemed to master. Everything I touched turned into a circle, don't ask me why. For now I will continue knitting I can't go far wrong with 35 sts and eight inch squares. Might give it a go again once I have made a few to send away. Never been to Crete. How long have you lived there. Sounds nice and warm unlike our weather at the moment which is very cold. Take care and keep up the good work. Jean

Hello Janet. How lovely for me to know of someone in Heraklion - somewhere that I have been on holidays. I love your work. It is great to have you with us on KAS - and you will get into trying new things with yarn - just as I am sure we all have.
Yes, As I think Christine Johnson said on someonelse's photo...knitting for KAS allows us to release our bright side...albeit briefly..(as the children enjoy the bright colours so much.) lol.

Hi Janet

Janet, sorry I've been so long in replying to your welcome to me which was much appreciated. It already feels like I'm part of a worldwide family.
