I notice you have been on the forum since May last year. You will find a lot about me by visiting my page. i live in Tassie and I wanted to do something with direct action for others. I googled knit a square because I had heard about knitting for Africa. The www.knit-a-square.com website came up and I went with them because I do not have to join the squares. How amazing how many people are involved in getting a blanket to a child. {:-)
Thank you for your invite for friendship. I was feeling a bit alone in OZ with only Bev in WA who pops up all the time encouraging people. Just making a felt bird and got online to see how to do blanket stitch. Memory is not necessary these days with google!!

We reciprocate your thanks Margaret - you are joining with a worldwide band of yarn workers who care and want to take direct action in order to improve the lives of these vulnerable & deprived children. Good on you!
