Each month we have the Snippets, where all the latest information is explained, and reminders of important points are given. It provides a good introduction to new members, with links to the most important items of the month.
Hi Megan, and welcome to the Square Circle Forum, home of Knit a Square.
My name is Amy and I am one of the Moderators from Texas.
We hope you enjoy the different discussions that cover all aspects of KAS. We hope that you will get to see your work arrive in The Barn or better yet wrapped around a child during a distribution.
Please feel free to add a comment or two to photos or discussion. This site is a little challenging at the beginning but with a little practice it is very easy to navigate.
I look forward to seeing some of your work on the Forum.
Welcome to Knit-a-Square, usually known as KAS, Megan. I've been a member for 8 years now, and enjoy the interaction between members. It's a very friendly association with members from many different countries.
Under the heading Discussion Categories you will find all the news about KAS. Most questions that you may have can be answered in one of the discussions. We love to have news of what you are making, and you can post photos of your squares in the Photo category. Each month there is an informative magazine, called Snippets. It contains all the news about the association and members.
For members who wish to to find inspiration outside the ordinary squares, there is a monthly theme. This is just to provide ideas for members and no-one has to participate if they don't wish to.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy being part of our group and do not hesitate to ask if you need information.

What is your favourite stitch?
I love a simple seed stitch. It can be very pretty when mixed with other stitches.
