Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car. The idea has gone global and there is an initiative on the forum about it. Check the latest ezine video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VK9mbUrGWI&feature=youtu.be
Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares received in Florida by Dec 15th to South Africa for us for free. Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.
Hi Sue! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment on my blanket. It meant so much to see how appreciated my hard work was and I'm thankful to receive so much positive feedback! Please feel free to copy it - it's been chaotic in this corner of the world but I'll do my best to post the pattern soon.

Hi Sue! Are you buried under snow? Wanting to know if we can set up a knitting together date? Call me at home at 719-338-5089. Looking forward to seeing you again!
HI Sue! I love, love, love the go-over!! The colors are smashing! I'm getting ready to send the squares and I think yours are all wool..is that right? I want to label them. When can you get together again? (I still have your sweet note on my fridge) Also...somewhere along the way I lost your phone number! ugh. Can you email it to me again? Happy Thanksgiving!! Hugs, Debbie
Dear Sue, thanks for confirming what I suspected--that mailing this Go-Over will not be cheap. I agree, I usually send just the smaller envelopes. We at least have the option of sea mail in Canada but I still think my own Go-Over is going to be in the Major Ka-ching ($$$) territory. I have done mine in chunky yarn, which is probably like 3 strands of DK together...heavy and warm is right, and that's important. Bravo on getting yours done and off. Way to go!--luv, Jeanne
What a great summary of what we do Sue. I think it is a great tip to sort out the palette too as you have and stick to one set. I tend to get distracted with loads of different colours and it can be a bit of a mish mash. Lovely work, thank you.
