We run a challenge each month. For the next three months it is all about squares. We have a grand total of 55,900 squares we are trying to achieve and would love you to participate.
Don't forget to post photographs of your work. We have an awesome gallery of the work of the KAS community which is really inspiring.
Some of our members further support KAS by making a small monthly donation through Paypal (top left hand corner). This is invaluable help as it ensures we can continue to ensure that your work is speedily distributed to the most needy children in South Africa. We are deeply grateful for any donation we receive, be it monetary or squares to help the orphans. Thank you.

Hello Vicky,
I have been trying to get in touch with Marina concerning her fund-raising event on 13th November but so far I haven't had a reply. She posted details of her Sisters for All group and its events on her page: http://square-circle-forum.ning.com/profile/marinabonettikohler?xg_...
so you may be able to reach her through that. I know she would be very pleased to meet you and by the sound of her poster you would be welcome to their meetings. If she gets in touch with me I will tell her about you. Nice to have you with us.
Hi Vicky - welcome to KAS! It's very easy to join the UK group - just click on groups at the top of the page and when all the page loads, click on the UK group. In the top right hand corner it says something like "join the uk group" - just click on that and you're done! You said you only do basic squares, well, let me tell you that basic squares are just as warm as fancier squares and they form the basis of most of the blankets, so please don't feel that they are inferior in any way. All squares are gratefully received and we're so glad that you've joined us!
Hello Vicky, welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy being a part of this friendly and supportive group of knitters/crocheters. When you've had a chance to look around if you would like to join the UK group (or any others) you would be very welcome. Do you knit or crochet or both?

Welcome to KAS!
How long have you been knitting/crocheting?
I'm just a beginner, but am learning steadily thanks to the support that is so abundant on this website!
Glad you're with us!
