Hi everyone!

Just wanted to make a quick shout out. My name is Sammantha and I am a 20 year old student studying teaching. I have enjoyed knitting as a hobby for a few years now after learning the basics in school and then teaching myself more patterns and how to crochet! The KAS charity is very important to me because I love my knitting to benefit those in need. This is actually my second knitting charity I have taken on :) I am also going to South Africa in January and I can't wait to see how everyone's hard work is paying off! So throe me a line if your knot (pun intended) to busy.

      hi. im going to st lucia and johanessburg as far as i know but i think there are more places too :)

        Sounds great:) I live in Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape at the beginning of the Garden Route. It's also called one of the World's top 10 surfing spots.

          that sounds really great! we get a fair bit of surfing done on the coast were i live too :) is that close to johanessburg?

            No, unfortunately not. It is -/+ 1200km away from Joburg.

              ah i see. goodness africa is such a big country! hope i dont get too lost when i a there.

    Hi Sammantha great to have us with you. Have you found the Group downunder and the land of the long white cloud? You might find someone local to you there.We can't wait for your news of SA !! How fabulous that you will see it in person.
