    • Oh, Pat, I feel for you having to rip out work you'd already done.   I hate doing that!

  • What lovely shades of green mixed with blues and yellows Karen. It looks very fresh and springlike. Love all the hats and not going to pick a fav.

  • You might remember that I am not really a fan of pink, but I know that Bev is, so I bought special yarns for this month.

I used Karen's pattern for a basketweave blanket and all the shades of pink yarn that I had gathered.    It is VERY rare for me to knit an entire blanket, but using two yarns together and a large needle, I managed to finish this one.

    • Aw Sharon, this is BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE how you have 'striped' the ends and the darker border gives it extra zing.  :)) Thank you soooo much for creating this blanket in colours that aren't your 'natural choice'.

Feeling very honoured that you would choose to specially buy PINK yarn for this month. xoxoxoxoxo

I'm afraid all my pink yarn is feeling very sad that I have not had time to engage with it this month, though saying that I do have some sitting on my needles, twiddling its fibres (thumbs).

    • Lovely colours nd loads of texture.  Very cosy!

    • We do like a challenge, don't we Sharon! Beautiful blanket.

      • Yes, we love a challenge, Patricia.   Isn't it interesting that we both did a knit blanket in a short time frame, when we usually churn out the crochet squares and blankets.   Must have been something in the air???

    • Fanatastic blanket Sharon and lots of work using 2 yarns.

Some of that yarn looks like it could have come from my stash.

      • Made me laugh, Amy.   We probably get the same sales advertisements in email and buy the same yarns, knowing the children like color and texture whenever possible.laughing

    • Oh Sharon I'm delighted + super flattered that you've knit this all-in-one blanket!   It's terrific.   The sheer size + weight as the length increases can drag on your shoulders so perseverance is key.   Very well done xx
