Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car. The idea has gone global and there is an initiative on the forum about it. Check the latest ezine video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VK9mbUrGWI&feature=youtu.be
Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares received in Florida by Dec 15th to South Africa for us for free. Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.

Hi Carole, just wanted to personally welcome you to the KAS site, although I know we have already had several conversations. Lovely to have such an active new member and look forward to more chats in the future. Sandy
Carol, I have 2 machines and I just could never get the hang of them...I want to sell them but I know I will never get out of them what my hubby paid for them...one of them is a knit king, the other a studio, I believe...I had so much trouble, I finally just put them in the corner of my sewing room...what kind do you have? do you do hats on them too...I did a few sweaters, but my nerves were to the end...thanks for writing back...I will add you as a friend, if that is ok...how did you come across the site...
Hi Carol, Welcome. I just mail by own packages, but if you get a group together to knit and crochet you can send them together. I live 1 hour north of Chicago. My daughter lives in Chicago so I am there quite often.
Carol..it is so great that you found the KAS site...we have so much fun here...not only sending the squares and stocking hats but the conversatio back and forth is such fun..I look forward to it every day...I was in your great city a year ago....what a town that is...I have a nephew there that we visited...I hope you will enjoy the site..do you knit or crochet? gayle
