Hi Rona, I notice you're a member of the schools group on the forum, and I was wondering if you could share some wisdom! How have you implemented a KAS program in your school? Hope tp hear from you soon!
Hi Rona,
Thank you for posting the KAS ornament link. I wanted to make a few and couldn't find your lovely pattern....I have bookmarked it this time :-)
Rona...thank you! Share away! Sorry for the trouble! I am not a great knitting problem solver - so I am a bit nervous that way. I will get the teaching guide when I can figure out how to print it...we don't use a printer really. I 'll probably take it to a printing place after I download it. Ideas to help start the girls would be so appreciated!
I have downloaded the patterns...should they all start with size 8 needles?
Hey Rona,
Do you have a photo of your Garterlac square. (Is that what you called it? Entrelac with all knit stitches.) I'm thinking that is probably faster than what I'm doing, entrelac in stocking stitch, and more reversible. I'm having fun with this technique but in the future may do it all garter stitch.
I am new to the KAS community, and am wantint to get a homeschool group going this fall with my daughter helping to organise her friends. All 9-11 year olds, some knit, some don't. I am looking for good ideas and advice about hosting such a group at our home. Another member that said I might as you!
How big do you think the group should be? Kindly, Misty in OR.
