    • Ladies, thank you for your kind comments. I have had it outside in the sunshine and it is really bright. It will be great in the SA sunshine!

    • A beautiful blanket Diane. I love the colours and the way you have planned it, cleverly using panels for the self striping yarn. Perfect!

    • Wow Diane this is sensational.   Superb blanket idea so beautifully organised and crafted ⭐

    • Diane, what a wonderful blanket.  So many bright and cheery colors.  For some reason it reminds me of a sunset over the water.

It will be treasured in South Africa.

    • I remember Karen has mentioned Wendy Giggles in the past but it's not a yarn I've tried (yet!). Beautiful blanket, Diane.

    • Wow!! This is a FABULOUS blanket, Diane!!! I LOVE the solid colours that you have chosen to complement the Wendy Giggles.

My sister brought me back a ball of Giggles on one of her trips to the UK. It is lovely to knit with and just soooo pretty. I think, from memory, it had more yellows and oranges and less bluey-green tones than yours....but just such pretty yarns.

      • Bev, I have these two balls of Wendy 'Giggles' too, just started using the darker of the two, looking forward to seeing how they turn out!

        • They are both SO pretty, Diane, but think my fave is the left one. I can't wait to see how they look knitted.....no pressure. laughing

  • What darling appliqués. You have a great selection Bev. I can't pick a favourite but those Zebras sure are cute.

  • Hi Bev, it's me again! This time I've sent you an email. Did you get it? Maybe I've gone into Spam.
