Hi Angela! Glad you found the pattern and you are looking forward to having a go! To be honest, it's such a simple pattern and you can really play around with it - fun fun fun!! I had a large ball of aran (soft) which I am knitting up with 6.5mm needles. I've decided to have a go at making '2 backs' but jiggling one around to create a bit of a neck - we'll see how it turns out! I'm still on the front at the moment but I think it will work out ok.  I created stripes on my last set to match yarn I already had and then bought the green.  I look forward to seeing yours Angela - have fun!! Hi Angela, that's great.  Maybe you can give me ideas for knitting etc.  I've been looking at the photographs of the knitted pieces and their amazing. I don't know whether you caught my location, but I'm in Northwich.

Hello Angela, glad you liked my bears. I did start stitching their faces but I also have trouble making them look "friendly". I found a company in the Midlands who do fabulous teddy eyes and noses and they are very cheap, very good and very quick service. Look at e-crafts.co.uk , I think 10 pairs of 10mm eyes were £1.10 they come is different colours as well so my bears have dark brown eyes, amber eyes and green eyes. I also bought little 10mm suede noses, about the same price. They came the next day. They are safety , acid free eyes suitable for 3 years upwards. They have a washer that you put behind each eye or nose. They are really tight to get on I took to putting them in water in the microwave to make them softer and it worked. I bought enough to do loads of Teddies so only had to pay the one postage. My home town is Birmingham so next time I go down to visit my Aunts I think I will pop in to this place and see what else they have....Julia

Hi Angela. Thanks for the kind comment about my cuddle. I used 3 strands of DK 100% wool , 2 in a pinky shade and 1 in a rusty colour, but they did look surprisingly nice together. The wool was actually given to me by a friend who bought it and, like you, unfortunately found she was allergic to. Do you find the same problem with all wool blends or is it only man made yarns you can knit with? Good job there are plenty of alternatives out there to chose from.

Hi Angela,
I was on Jeni's page and I saw your enquiry about square lists. Your name is on the list dated 25th -31st May.
KAS tab - scroll down to bottom of list on left hand side - Square list - 25-31 May. The other lists seem to be mostly American squares because there was a backlog. I'm looking forward to the new bar-code sytem becoming operational but I understand it will be September now.

Hi Angela, I think the 5 lists are down as the different dates. Not really sure. I dont keep a careful check on my squares arriving so long as plenty are listred, that's good enough. Hope you are feeling better soon - but not too soon if it is speeding up your squares production.
Best wishes.

Hello Angela
Thank you for your comments on my squares....you are right I did not realise that they were the colours of Allsorts. I just love stripes...I like spots as well but stripes are my favourite. It is a good way of using up odd colours and bits of balls of wool that you have left so my last batch of squares from this batch of wool will be very bright !
