"Thank you Bev for answering both of my questions. It will be no problem to add a tail to the squares.
I appreciate how much work it must take to sort all of the squares and am happy to help in any way I can.
If you were able to securely attach a tail to a corner of each square, it would be much appreciated by the team in SA, as it keeps the sorting process moving quickly. However, if you are unable to, I'm sure the squares will be most…"
I also remember that years ago, someone brought up the question of red because they had heard that red was not a colour to use and Ronda made inquiries and found that it was perfectly okay for the children. I think the consensus was that…"
"ODE TO THE DREADED FUZZY STUFF
When first it appeared on shop shelves, So soft, and fuzzy and warm, We did not suspect in our wildest dreamsIt was made by evil elves!
We all have balls of it lurkingAt the bottom of our stash,But a theme like…"
"Whilst on holiday this year I went into a wonderful little wool shop and was having a conversation about KAS with the owner who very kindly let me purchase some end of line 50g balls of yarn for 50p each. During our conversation it came out that she…"
"What a great intro, Heather. I've been rather unproductive for the last month (buried myself in my family tree - a 20 year project which I am determined to finish this year. It's a bit like trying to do the most horrendous logic puzzle…"
I Hope this finds you doing well and enjoying those long days fill with lots of sun. I was wondering if you would consider being featured in Meet the KAS Family? It can be you and/or your church group. If you are interested, please just shoot me an email and I will send you some general questions to answer.
I currently have questions out to three other groups, but am not having much luck in getting information back. Time to move forward with other people and groups.
I am in and out of internet contact the next couple of days while traveling, but will be checking my email nightly.
Hello Anne, thanks for your message (I wasn't able to send a reply!) re posting photos into discussions - I am using an iPad, so as you say, the usual method won't work for me. At some point I will get to my computer and add my squares to the relevant challenge, so thanks for doing it thus far!
Hi Anne dear. The Pinterst site is stunning, stunning, stunning but I am wondering if you can keep more KAS photos in that top row. e.g. that gorgeous shot of the two children wrapped in love with the words on top '1.9 million etc'. If that could stay at the top it wold be good. You are getting visits to the www site to it is working really well. It is full of stunning photos. Great job. It looks as though anyone can put a photo there I will have a go.
Thanks Anne, Have to say it felt strange knitting a thick woolly jumper when the temperature here was in the late 20's but it is rewarding that a youngster will be cozy & warm in the South African winters:)
Sorry I have taken so long to answer had a family emergency this weekend, hopefully it is now resolved. Anyway, in answer to my small squares, yes, your grandson is only 15 minutes away and would be a great way to send them your way and thank you for your very kind thoughts, however, when talking to one of my Mother's senior neighbors I mentioned what I was doing and she volunteered to sew my squares together and also maybe would like to take part in making squares for Kas.........be nice to have a new recruit.........so thanks again for your help.
