Hi Belinda, I will try and find out for you, I only learnt about KAS through collecting my little granddaughter from school and being asked if I could knit some squares. My granddaughter had taken her hat and scarf that I had made for show and tell bless her. I will give the school a ring and find out for you..talk soon

Hello Belinda, I have just joined KAS, do you ever meet up with the others who also knit for KAS in Scarborough? Kind regards Christine

Having said that, I'm now having trouble saving it but that's my Adobe problem so I'll probably have to get someone else to print it for me.

Hi Belinda,

I've just downloaded mine and I didn't have any trouble once I went to the KAS site - the Buy Now button in the email didn't work. After I'd paid I had the option to 'Return to Knit-a-Square page' and after clicking that the link was apparent and tthe calendar downloaded fairly quickly.

Hi Belinda!

I've had a few responses already to my email and will be posting mine out to crocheters.  If I were you, I'd do the same! somebody who crochets can whip round a 7" square in a few minutes to upsize it (it would only take one 'lap'!!).  I just wanted to get mine out to Jigsaw whilst the offer is still there, save a whole load of postage. Most of my squares are 6" so need two 'laps' !

Glad you found the site Belinda. I am not as clever as Christine to be able to put links in for people just to click on. You are right KAS takes over at times. I only have to look at the photograph of the little children asleep on the floor and I have to get my knitting needles out.My friends no longer buy presents for each other as we are all of an age where we have what we want so we all support things like this instead and I am quite happy to send extras when they are needed especially at Christmas time for the children. For the first time last year I did not even send Christmas cards I told everyone that I had sent teddy bears and the small soft playballs for the children instead and they were more than happy with my decision a Chrstmas card lasts for a couple of weeks a toy for a child will bring happiness for months.

Good morning Belinda. You can try Andersons Wholesale on the NET. You have to buy most things in boxes but depending on what you buy boxes can cost as low as £4. They have a special offer on at the moment with soft small playballs £6 for 12. They sent me an email from SA last year saying how great they were for the children they are also very light to send so I have ordered more for this year. The nice thing is on your basket checkout it gives you the weight of your package so I know that the order I put in last night will go in two packages under 2Kg. Have a look some is just junk but there are some good things there. Orders are subject to VAT and postage. Hope this helps.
