Diane I had to smile when I read your message with your blanket. We were sitting in our holiday home in Norfolk and it had been raining non stop for 12hours. Managed to knit three squares though:)

Hi Diane,  I checked your name in the original data and that is what is recorded. [I'm in Canada and the data is sent to me from South Africa]

However having said that, new volunteers have been known to not record content correctly and it was a new volunteer compiling the data.  I'm assuming you included a packing slip so the mix-up was somewhere after that !  At least we know your parcel arrived :-)

Sorry for the mix-up.  As a volunteer charity Knit-a-Square will always have a few hiccups. Thank you for your understanding.  Linda

Thanks Diane, I enjoyed knitting this one so much and it grew very quick that I am temped to do another one in a different sequence:)

Hi Diane, it's so lovely for me to hear you enjoy making the Cozy Jumpers - I'm biased of course but I do feel they are like a big warm snuggly hug for the children! I love the bears to, whoever I have shown them to has instinctively hugged them tight and made all the right noises! Can't wait to post the first batch off! Happy knitting xx

Thanks Diane, Credit goes to Kathy Platts for the cuffs who taught me how to pick up the stitches at the side to do them:)

Yeah Diane - we have the same yarn!! (your comment on my Hand Warmers pic).  Marian (creator of many knitted toys) was using this to make a jacket for her niece last summer When I saw it I just had to have some (you know how it is!!) such happy bright colours.  I made 2 Grace Vests with it on the front panel.  It's lovely for the handwarmers as it is bright and colourful, and not doing stripes means less ends to darn in.  I foresee a few more pairs will be made in it!
