Linda Sneddon posted a statusHello Linda. I am in the north of Northumberland my nearest big town is Berwick Upon Tweed though as you will know it keeps trying to become part of Scotland again. I cannot blame it as in years to come I would like to retire to the east coast of Scotland.
The KAS site is a lovely family with knitters and crocheters from all over the World. You will find loads of inspiration from the photographs that other members post on the site and you only have to look at the children to know why we all knit for them.
You have found a good group to knit for. Best wishes Julia
Welcome to KAS Linda. Nice to know there is another member in the area. You will find everyone very helpful and supportive in the KAS family.
Happy stitching
Julia

Pam Antink said… Hi Linda, Welcome to the KAS forum and I hope you will enjoy being part of this friendly & lively community. Do you knit or crochet or both? Around the world caring people are all taking direct action and team-working with the Ladies of the Soweto Comfort Club - it is making a difference to many parentless children. When you've had a chance to look around the site you would be very welcome to join the UK group for more local news and chat.
Please do write about being involved with a therapy group at some stage, perhaps in the Meeting You section. It will give ideas and inspiration to others.
You can also personalize your own page by clicking on the My Page tab on the menu. Also you can access Settings on this page and set your privacy terms. For questions click on the Forum tab and then KAS - Questions, Answers and Help.
