You're very welcome Melissa.  Yarnaholics and happy hookers and knit witters seem to really enjoy each others' work.  We know more than anybody the time and talent involved and how creative combining colors can get.  I really enjoy looking at pictures of others' work, it always inspires me. :)  luv, Jeanne

Thats interesting you are originally from South Africa. Must be hard being so far from home. When did you move here?? Is your family all in South Africa. I have 6 brothers and sisters and they all live in different states. This is going to sound terrible but I only seen to see them at wedding and funerals. And Dad died almost three years ago. But did recently see them a year ago this Oct. my 44 year old brother got married for his first time and his wife it was also her
first marriage too. Two of my three sons came with me and of course my husband and it was a great time. My sons are all in there 20's and all still live at home. But are gone alot working and one goes to school. So expensive to live out on your own now a days. Well just reading peoples walls today and trying to get some more people better.

Hi Melissa

Welcome to our warm KAS community. It's great to see you. We hope you will enjoy the forum and your region's group. You should join the USA AND the South African group! I know what it's like to miss Africa. We are originally from Zim.

There are lots of great discussions going on in the forum, including the monthly challenges.

We have a challenge every month, if you want to get involved please do. It's not compulsory at all but some of the work done is just lovely. Have a look at the November challenge - the SLIP-OVER (under challenges in the main forum) this will give you an idea of some of the fantastic work this community is doing for the children of South Africa. Here is a link to the November challenge photos:
