Sarah, not sure where you will be most likely to see this but as your friends are so busy making squares you'll no doubt benefit from the Jigsaw offer of collecting squares for us in their retail outlets and transporting them to S. Afirca. If you haven't a branch near you they can be posted to their Head Office which is still a big saving. Squares only though.

My home is in Bramhall but have worked with a group of ladies from my church in Cheadle. We are hoping to send a parcel of squares and tops in about a week.

Hello Sarah - a bit belated but I've been away for half term - hope the squares are coming along (isn't it fabby to do something useful when you're watching TV???)

I'm fairly new but I've found the group to be very friendly, so even if we aren't geographically close, it doesn't feel that way!

Hey, Sarah!  Thanks for friending me!  Yes, it's true - this is a fun place!  I always come away from the forum with a project...and a smile!  By the way, I wanted to ask you, is Northwich anywhere near Norwich?

Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the group - I'm quite local to you as I'm in Alsager near Sandbach.

Welcome, Sarah from across the Atlantic!  Glad to see you've already joined the UK discussion group - a lively, well-informed bunch ready to help and encourage at the drop of a (knitted, of course!) hat!

I'm sure you'll enjoy Square Circle forum; it's great for finding friends, understanding and inspiration.

So happy you joined us!

Welcome to Kas, Sarah from across the Pond in Canada. There's lots of lovely UK knitters on Knit A Square and they do some super fundraising and "KAS on the Go" days, when they get passersby involved too.  I hope you enjoy the UK group, just click in the header above to join.  I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. The more creativity the better, it all warms and helps heal the children, gives them hope and love and the knowledge they're not forgotten. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above.  To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :)  Welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
