Bev Jeffery said… Hi Jean
Best wishes for a Happy Birthday!
Hello Jean
Thankyou for letting me know you received the squares, and huge thankyou for helping me out. The response to my request/plea (!) for help was amazing, just shows how many lovely hard working people there are on this forum, who really care.
Thankyou again
Kathyxx
Hi Jean
I was interested in your comment about working for an AIDS charity - is that your work or are you a volunteer?
I am David'sgrandma because he was my only grandson for 4 years and I looked after him for a day a week before he went to school - I really enjoyed those days. Then within the space of 9 months, David went to school, I retired, having worked an 80% week for a couple of years, and both daughters had sons. So I am now grandma to 3 grandsons. David likes to help me with all my crafting activities.

Pam Antink said… Hi Jean, Welcome to the KAS forum and I hope you enjoy being part of this friendly & lively community. Do you knit or crochet or both? Around the world caring people are all taking direct action and team-working with the Ladies of the Soweto Comfort Club - it is making a difference to many parentless children. When you've had a chance to look around the site you would be very welcome to join the UK group for more local news and chat.
