"What an amazing story this hat could tell already, and that's before it's even got to its new owner in SA. The colours are simply gorgeous and being 100% wool is going to keep someone beautifully warm this winter."

Thanks for your lovely message Michele ... at some stage in the future I intend to spend MUCH more time on the forum, chatting to everyone who supports us so generously and lovingly. I am so blessed to be the one who passes on your collective warmth to the children but I think of you all as I wrap and hold close for a moment each little body and telL them how much they are loved ! You are with me in spirit each time, I know. Much love to you all, Ronda xxxx

Hello Michelle, thanks for your kind comment! :) That pattern is ideal for the spring doll drive. I was so sad to read that the kids in the orphanages have to be shown how to play with the dolls, as they've never had toys of their own before - especially when I see my own daughter playing with all the stuff she has! I'm aiming to pop a couple of rainbow babies in with each parcel I send. Would love to see a picture of the ones you make too!

Hi Michele, thank you so much for the compliment about my multicolour pullover.I will put the pattern on my page. It was really a pleasure to work with this yarn, I hope to make a child at home happy with it :-). wish you a lovely weekend.

Dear Michele, Thank you so much for this kind words of welcome. English is not my native language, so apologies for not expressing myself correctly, but I believe you know what I mean.Indeed I experienced from the beginning on, friendy and caring people. Your knitwork (is the a correct expression?) looks beautiful. I finished my first 35 crochet squares, enough for one blanket. I am proud of that. I hope we will have contact in the very near future about our "knitting hands". Best regards, Anneke

Hello Michelle, thank you for leaving a comment for me. Knitting squares is addictive because they're quick to do and complete so gratification isn't quite so delayed!
