"Well done Michele - especially the 8" measuring squares! We will be adding a KAS Square Measure to the KAS Pattern Book very shortly so that members can down-load and makes jigs to give people to use so that their squares really are…"
Took some wool for knitting squares and some squares to be sewn together, along to Ivybridge Methodist Church yesterday for the 'Wise and Wonderful' Group to work on. Took plenty of flyers too so let's hope for some more additions to the KAS…
Thanks for your lovely message Michele ... at some stage in the future I intend to spend MUCH more time on the forum, chatting to everyone who supports us so generously and lovingly. I am so blessed to be the one who passes on your collective warmth to the children but I think of you all as I wrap and hold close for a moment each little body and telL them how much they are loved ! You are with me in spirit each time, I know. Much love to you all, Ronda xxxx
Hello Michelle, thanks for your kind comment! :) That pattern is ideal for the spring doll drive. I was so sad to read that the kids in the orphanages have to be shown how to play with the dolls, as they've never had toys of their own before - especially when I see my own daughter playing with all the stuff she has! I'm aiming to pop a couple of rainbow babies in with each parcel I send. Would love to see a picture of the ones you make too!
Hi Michele, thank you so much for the compliment about my multicolour pullover.I will put the pattern on my page. It was really a pleasure to work with this yarn, I hope to make a child at home happy with it :-). wish you a lovely weekend.
Dear Michele, Thank you so much for this kind words of welcome. English is not my native language, so apologies for not expressing myself correctly, but I believe you know what I mean.Indeed I experienced from the beginning on, friendy and caring people. Your knitwork (is the a correct expression?) looks beautiful. I finished my first 35 crochet squares, enough for one blanket. I am proud of that. I hope we will have contact in the very near future about our "knitting hands". Best regards, Anneke
